DNC95 – the scientific abbreviation of Deep Nature Complex – refers to the year 1995: the year in which Mag. Dr.rer.nat. Sonja Masselter, PhD chemist with over 30 years of leading experience in food analytics, formulated the fundamental thesis of this active ingredient system. Building on her expertise, she developed the concept of a synergistic active ingredient matrix that supports the skin’s biological processes – inspired by epigenetic switches.Her daughter Geneviève, founder of GENEVIEVE Natural Beauty, transformed these groundbreaking insights into a practice-oriented application. With the GENEVIEVE cosmetic line, she brought scientific theory into functional skincare, uniting research and nature.

Our passion for skincare goes far beyond the usual - it is deeply rooted in my personal history. Even as a child, I grew up in an environment in which science and quality played a central role. My mother, a doctor of chemistry, spent 30 years in a senior position in the field of food safety. Her work and knowledge shaped me so that I integrated the topic of nutrition and, above all, the importance of product ingredients into my everyday life from an early age. I heard about the latest developments every day and learnt that quality and safety must always be the focus. It is precisely this philosophy of holism and mindfulness that flows into our skincare products. Because just as we pay attention to what we put into our bodies when we eat, we should also pay attention to what we put on our skin - the body's largest organ. We believe that skincare is more than just superficial care. It is a conscious act that supports health and well-being.
